Lindsey Vonn (born 18 Oct 1984) is a former American alpine ski champion who won gold in downhill at the Winter Olympics in 2010. Vonn is ranked second worldwide for the highest scores for male and female skiers. She's one of the greatest skiers ever and is the most loved skier from the United States. Caroline Vonn, also known by her name Lindsey Vonn, is an American World Cup alpine racer who competes in the US Ski Team. She won four World Cups. She has a long and distinguished track record with American athletics. She is one of only six women who have triumphed in all five Alpine Skiing World Cup events. She has won the World Cup 82 times. She is among the top skiers worldwide and also the most popular American ski racer has decided to take a break following the World Championship which will take place in Sweden. Following a string of ailments, the multiple World Cup champion has decided to retire. The four-time overall World Cup champion announced her retirement via social networks. In the coming week, I'll take part in the final race for my career at the Downhill World Championships, as well as in the SG World Championships held in Re Sweden.
