Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts born to Betty Lou Bredemus (mother) and Walter Grady Roberts on October 28th, 1967. Her family is the fourth Roberts family that been a resident of Atlanta. It began with her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts who was farmer. Her father took an early interest in theatre. While in school in Emory University in 1952 he performed in shows on campus and in Atlanta. After joining the airforce, in 1953 he appeared in an airforce production in Biloxi together with Betty Lou Bredemus. They got married in 1955. Their child, Eric Anthony, was born in 1956. Walter was studying at Tulane University, New Orleans Louisiana. In the year 1957, they were discharged from the air force and Walter started his education at Tulane. Walter was hired to work for Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio to be a part of the production team for the television show Bum Bum His Buddies in Decatur Georgia. Walter along with Betty Lou began producing a television show for children in Decatur, Georgia called Bum Bum and His Buddies. They funded the show their own. The Actors and Writers Workshop was founded in 1964 and ran for six years. The couple also had two children, Lelisa Billingsley (1965) (also called Lisa) and Julia Billingsley (1967) (also also known by the same name Julie).
