Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding was born Elena Jane Goulding in Hereford on the 30th of December 1986. Having caught the public's attention in 2010 through her hits "Starry Eyed" and "Guns and Horses," British vocalist Ellie Goulding rapidly rose to the top of the charts due to her enthralling electronic pop style. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding stands at the cutting edge of the movement, just like Kate Bush and Imogen Sheap of popular contemporary music and of independent, arty pop. Her soprano and her talent for writing emotional songs are what make her unique. Polydor Records eventually signed Goulding to a big recording deal. The album she released was scheduled for release.
